Remember the Fence Contest? The winning idea of a modular time line put up via wheat paste has been transformed into an illustrated version with mobile device interactivity. More on the mobile stuff later, but the artwork is scheduled to be installed on the wall outside the site of the Psychic Temple by the end of this weekend.
Many of the icons can be matched with the Psychic Temple site’s history page. The top row of the detail above, for example, features the installation of the Queen Mary, opening of the first Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, and founding of interTrend. Other events include the construction of the 710 freeway, Snoop Dogg being born, and the Aquarium of the Pacific. Can you figure out the rest?
