I already described this morning’s press event at the Psychic Temple on an interTrending blog post, and will try to provide slightly different views this time around. Above: An excellent view of the planks nailed down to fill gaps and holes in the old flooring so no one trips. Below: Long Beach Director of Development Services Amy Bodek and interTrend CEO Julia Huang begin the ceremonial signing of 2x4s.
It was a little unusual for interTrend to be on the receiving end of media attention. Typically, the company pushes others into the spotlight: Toyota, AT&T, State Farm, etc. But the company saving Long Beach’s second-oldest commercial building from decay and investing in and supporting downtown Long Beach is indeed newsworthy. Richard Lewis of JRVD Builders and Developers got into the act as well. His team put together the color rendering of the new facade in one night.
One thing that hasn’t changed is interTrend’s commitment to providing the best of food–including macarons from DoLy’s right across the street.
Stay tuned for future events at the Psychic Temple…
