The Psychic Temple’s facade is being prepared for its facelift. The wood barriers have been brought in to allow for work and layers of tile and other materials are being stripped to expose the original bricks.
The decorative central pillars are also being exposed, although the first floor isn’t considered historical and will not receive the same restorative treatment as the upper floors (which are considered historical).
After the reinforcements to the roof are completed, the inside will be sandblasted and cleaned up.
Windows will follow (to keep the interior clean) and then scaffolding will go up until work on the facade has finished.
