While the openings are boarded up, the windows themselves are down for safe keeping and eventual restoration. If I were still working at the Jungle Cruise, I’d tell you to watch your step so you don’t get a window pane.

Beneath the Covers
The Psychic Temple is in the process of being resurfaced–at least where there are cracks. I never noticed the starfish-shaped plates (above) before… Meanwhile, the front has been covered up even more. It turns out sandblasting was scheduled to occur this afternoon. Neighbors, bear with us. The noisy process should end tomorrow.

Christmas wrapping
The Psychic Temple’s historic facade is now covered and prepped for restoration. Sadly, it won’t be ready to open up on Christmas…

Surfaces
The side walls are being prepared for resurfacing. Below is a closeup. The opposite side is being cleaned up and filled as well. The facade has yet to be covered by scaffolding. Maybe next week. Meanwhile, the top floor still looks magnificent.
