Surfaces, sounds
Stopped by the Psychic Temple today and the canvas still covers its façade–but not for long. The plaster is being surfaced by the entrances. The ledges have already been plastered. The bricks are freshly sand-blasted and water sealed. Detail work continues and the sconces go up next week. Meanwhile, a Makita sound system propels the…

Shiny new windows have been fitted into the old sills of the Psychic Temple. Crystal-clear views from the second and third floors. Although the front windows will be revealed next week, one corner of the refreshed façade is already being exposed. Look for the curtain to fall soon!

Windows 2.0
The first refurbished window went up at the Psychic Temple this week. But the ones that afforded the best views weren’t even up yet. Fresh paint. Fastback, squareback. Another view.

Peek-a-boo
Behind the scaffolding cover, the new entries are starting to take shape. More peeking, lurking, and sharing next week…

Wild life, wild style

I shutter to think about it
While the openings are boarded up, the windows themselves are down for safe keeping and eventual restoration. If I were still working at the Jungle Cruise, I’d tell you to watch your step so you don’t get a window pane.
